Phantasy Star Online 2 announced for the PS4, but still not released in the west

Sega has just announced the release of Phantasy Online 2 on the PS4 in Japan. Good news right? The only problem is that it will still be exclusive to Japan.

Sega made the announcement on Sunday during an Arks Festival stage event. Attendees of the Tokyo Game Show can expect to get their hands on  a playable demo next month. Along with the announcement was the reveal of the games latest episode titled " Reborn : Episode 4" which will also launch in 2016.

The game originally launched in Japan in 2012 as a free-to-play Windows PC game, the PlayStation Vita in 2013, and on Android and IOS in 2014. Phantasy Star Online 2 has more than 3.5 million registered users and can expect to add a few more once the PS4 version launches.

I'm able to eat 25 Mcnuggets in a row and maintain total composure. It's important to note that I have zero useful skills and will be the third to perish once the country runs out of corn syrup and the end days begin. I have zero allegiances to any gaming company or platform and go where the games are. Anime is my domain and I am a lower tier noble with hopes of becoming a duke. Oh, and I kinda started the site and trick- I mean, convinced some friends into helping.
